Moosburg castle, which in its core dates back to the 9th century, is situated high above the market town of the same name, Moosburg, and is surrounded by magnificent forests. The ancient signal tower of the Carolingian imperial palace of Moosburg gave rise to the "New Castle" in the 15th century. The house has been owned by the Goëss family since May 22, 1708 and is run as a guesthouse.

You can reach the Wörthersee (Pörtschach) in a few minutes by car - the distance: only 5 kilometers. In the Palas there are 16 comfortably furnished rooms available. These can be reached via the staircase built in the baroque style. In the southern wing of the palace, the "Pflegerstöckl", we offer the garden room, which is located at ground level. The castle also has a large Gothic hall with 200 m2 of space. This hall can be rented for events.
