Fischhorn Castle is a castle in the Salzburg municipality of Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße in the Pinzgau region. It is located on a hill on the border of the village of Zell am See

A romantic location in the middle of the mountains

Among the ministerials of the Salzburg bishops, an Ulricus de Vischarn also appears in 1233. It is assumed that the castle once belonged to the Goldeggers, who built it around 1200.

The castle changed hands several times, and was finally renovated in neo-Gothic style around 1863 by Sophie Princess Löwenstein. The Gildemeister family acquired the castle in 1918, and it is still in their family today.
